for a busier-than-usual hurricane season.
Also, as the BP Oil spill continues in the Gulf,
it is evident that both man-made and natural
disasters are a part of everyday life. This

out most people don't think about disasters until
they are faced with one. You will find links

The Hazards of
Lead Paint
The hazards
associated with lead paint have been in and out of
the news over the past several years. We
think it is important to identify some key points
you need to consider relative to both your
personal and business exposures.
- About half of homes built before
1978 have lead-based paint.
- Lead-based paint may be found
on any surface in the home - inside or
outside.
- Lead gets into the body when it is
swallowed or breathed.
- Once
in the body, lead can have significant effects
on human health.
